For the Events That Matter
Not every occasion fits a restaurant private room or a hotel ballroom. Some gatherings deserve a real space, a real atmosphere, and the flexibility to make it your own.
Pleasant Street Hall is available for private rental for everything from milestone birthday parties and family reunions to corporate retreats, retirement celebrations, graduation parties, and holiday events. The venue seats up to 100 guests with comfortable parking on-site.
Event Types We Regularly Host
Family reunions An interior space that gives the whole family room to gather, share a meal, and celebrate without the constraints of a traditional venue.
Milestone birthdays and retirement parties 50th birthdays, retirements, anniversaries. Events where the people matter more than the format. We make the space work around you.
Corporate events and retreats Off-site meetings, team events, client entertaining, and company celebrations. Flexible layout and presentation capability.
Graduation and achievement celebrations Spring and summer graduation parties for the graduate who deserves more than a backyard table.
Baby and bridal showers Daytime seated events with a warm, flexible space suited to any decor.
Holiday Events
October through December is when the hall gets asked for most. The room is indoors, it is heated, and the tables and chairs come with it, which is usually why a holiday gathering ends up here instead of at somebody’s house.
Halloween parties and indoor trick-or-treat A costume party for adults, or a trick-or-treat night that a church, a school group, or a business puts on for kids. Indoors, the plan does not change if it rains on the 31st, and there is no street to keep children out of. Tables along the walls give each group a spot to hand out candy, which is the indoor version of a trunk-or-treat.
Thanksgiving dinners A Friendsgiving, a company dinner, a club or church dinner, or a family that has outgrown the dining room. Tables and chairs are part of the rental, so a sit-down dinner for sixty does not start with a rental order.
There is no kitchen prep area here. Thanksgiving in this room means food that arrives cooked, whether that is a caterer or a dozen covered dishes carried in from home.
Christmas parties The company Christmas party, a family Christmas that has grown past a living room, a cookie exchange, an ornament swap, a choir or club party. December is the month people ask about first, and New Year’s Eve is a single date that only one group gets. If you have a date in mind, ask early.
Winter birthdays A birthday in January or February has nowhere outdoors to go. The hall gives a kids’ party room to run and a milestone party room to seat everyone. More on those on the showers and celebrations page.
Decorating for a holiday Everything permanent in the room is neutral. Red brick walls, black posts and beams, wide hardwood floors. Orange and black in October and red and green in December both sit on that without fighting it. Decor comes in with you, and your rental window includes time to put it up and take it down.
